After years of hands-on field experience, Andres Herrera and his business partner built Prime Lift to help craft professionals earn the credentials that move their careers. The idea was simple: train people the way the work actually happens, test them in the same building, and put the credential on the NCCER Registry where every contractor looks.
We're a locally and Latino-owned school on the US-181 frontage road in Portland, minutes from the refineries, plants and shipyards of Corpus Christi, Ingleside and Gregory. Classes are small, capped at 8, and taught by people who came up in the field.
What we do
- NCCER Advanced Rigger certification: 4-day, night, or 3-day weekend express
- NCCER Signal Person certification: two Fridays
- NCCER craft assessments in 36 crafts, $150 flat, by appointment
- Financing with no credit check, so the cost never decides it
- Classes capped at 8 seats
